I am currently writing the specs for the new LinkAdage Text Link Exchange service. I have some fairly cool ideas but I am sure many of you have exchanged text links and used text link exchange services before and found things you liked and didn't like. Now is your chance to make suggestions. Anyone?

I would like to see a method
I would like to see a method in place that not only makes sure the links are up but trades remain equal and on target.

A well done text link exchange is needed
A well done text link exchange site is definately needed.  All the current exchange sites have turned into networks that google has most likely identified and discounted the links.
I miss the days where I could trade links with a few hundred sites and start to get rankings.
Any text link exchange you start needs to be very well managed, targeted, and can not leave the stink of a link network.
