Link Exchange Service Overview

The LinkAdage Exchange is a free online service that allows webmasters of high quality web sites to easily trade text links with one another. Our goal is to provide a community portal where webmasters can save time trading high quality text links to other members in a wide variety of different categories.
In order to use LinkAdage Exchange service we require that you paste a small section of code (PHP, ASP, etc) into each of the web pages where you will be adding text links. This code enables us to dynamically insert or remove text links on your web pages based on the preferences set within your control panel. These preferences will include link trades that you approve, custom displays, etc. Everything will be managed from within your control panel.
Our text link management software currently supports web sites that use server side processing. This includes any web site that uses PHP, ASP, PERL, Cold Fusion, etc. In addition most forum web sites and blogs will also support our software. If your web pages do not offer server side scripting such as PHP or ASP, you may use an alternate to parse your web pages. For example, on Apache, you can use a .htaccess file to parse PHP within .html pages.
Below is an overview of how the service works:
- Register for a free Linkadage Exchange account.
- Add web pages that you wish to trade links on and designate various attributes of those web pages, i.e. title, description, link prices (links are for sale), etc.
- Copy a small section of code from your account control panel and paste it into every page where you want to display text links. You have the ability to customize the font, color, etc of the text links on your web pages.
- Validate your web pages within your control panel (the validation process confirms that the code is working correctly)
- Once your web pages are validated, they are added to our database where other members can browse and search for them.
- After you or any member makes a link trade request, it shows up in your control panel. You can then accept or decline the request.
- Once a link trade request is accepted, the links automatically appear on each members web pages.
The web pages within the Linkadage Exchange database are required to have a PR of 3 or higher. We believe this helps ensure web sites in bad neighborhoods or with search engine penalties can not participate. In addition, we do not allow web pages containing pornography, racist information, warez downloads, excessive popups, or illegal content.
This service is free of charge, however, we require that you provide one text link on each of your web pages where we can promote the services of our advertisers. Remember, you will have the ability to filter text links from any category that you do not want displayed on your web pages. If you would rather not provide one text link advertisement on your web page, please and we can arrange to remove this requirement for a monthly link management service fee.
