Adding Your URL to LinkAdage
I get offers everyday from webmasters that will add my URL if I add their URL. Unfortunately 99.9% of these go in the trash bin as complete trash. Most are complete spam requests from lazy webmasters hoping to get a few newbies to link to them.
Most of these link requests start out by saying, since 'our sites' (gambling, RX, etc.. ) site are closely related, linking to each other would mutually benefit both of us. They go on to explain to me why links are important (funny, did they ever visit LinkAdage?) and why my visitors would benefit from a link to their site.
Advice, if you want a link from LinkAdage, step one is to review my site and write me a personal email. If we would both benefit from a link to each other, chances are I'll give you a shout out. However, if you clearly have no clue what LinkAdage is about, but want a link - sorry.
I think having all kinds of links are important to success. Paid, traded, free, and contextual links can all work together to build your text link base. Still you need to have a great website.
