The one thing that all webmasters have in common is their never ending quest for content. Every webmaster needs content. The search engines look for new content. Your web sites visitors look for new content. Even other webmasters that are considering a link partnership look for new content. So what could be better then having someone else contribute content for you? The answer of course is: Nothing could be better.Using articles as a way of generating backlinks to your site is an easy and very effective method of link generation. If you can write at all it is very simple to do. Write a number of articles on your specific niche market. Makes sure these articles are factual, well written, and fun to read. Once you have your articles written it is time to find other sites that share your same niche market. These sites will most likely be looking for new content and all you have to do is write the webmaster of the site and offer him your articles for inclusion on his site. Most webmasters will read over the articles and if the quality is good enough they will include them onto their websites. Once those articles are included on the site your link is included as well. That is one additional one way link for every article that they put up. The more sites that use your work the more links will be put up pointing back to your site. Also, ask the webmaster to put a link to your article on their homepage or at most one click from their home page. You want the search engines to be able to find your text links.
There are a few key things to remember when you are writing your articles. Always make them interesting to read. Do not just restate information that every one else already knows. If possible include graphics such as pictures, charts, graphs, and photo’s in your article to keep the reader interested. Always write in a style that is professional and never put negative comments into the work. Focus only on the positive. Keep the article short and to the point and never ramble.

If you can engage the webmaster then in all likelihood your article will be accepted. If the webmaster is not enthusiastic he will most likely just ignore your offer without a second thought.
