Selling Links
Selling links on your website is an excellent way to make extra revenue. I get asked all the time “how much will I make selling links?” That can be a difficult question to answer without a complete analysis of the website.
Also, link prices tend to go up and down. Unfortunately, the first basis for link pricing is a page’s PR (page rank). So right after a PR update prices are at a premium and link sales are brisk. Three or four months after a PR update, prices go down and link sales slow. Many people like to wait it out until the next “update” so they know for sure what PR they are getting.
Obviously the higher your website’s PR, the more per link you can get. PR5 links can take in $25 - $40 per month per link and PR9 links $500 to $1200 per month per link. The price range depends on other factors such as how many other links on the link page, how long the site has been selling links, home page or inside page, location of links, category of website, age of website, traffic of website, trust rank of website, and reputation of link seller.

+ If you are a new Link Seller, sell below market to build up some good feedback ratings.
+ Selling at a lower price helps you sell out your inventory faster and start bringing money in – then on non-renewals start asking for a higher price to bring up your average price per link sold.
+ Give a full description and fill out the website metrics section as completely and honestly as possible.
+ Treat your advertisers like gold. One advertiser will often lead to many other sales.
+ Ask an experienced LinkAdage seller to sell links for you. For a commission, many sellers will do all the work for you.
